Ken Valz has over 25 years of jury trial experience and specializes in real estate, civil litigation and criminal defense. Ken is a graduate of Seattle University Law School and has an undergraduate degree from William and Mary. He is a former Thurston County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.
Ken is licensed to practice before the US Supreme Court, the District of Columbia and the Ninth Federal Circuit.
Ken Valz is a designated landlord attorney for the Olympic Rental Association. He represents numerous apartment complexes and landlords in the Thurston County area. His law practice includes boundary disputes, unlawful detainers, forclosures of Deeds of Trust and Real Estate Contracts and a wide variety of real estate disputes.
Ken has been counsel in over one hundred civil and criminal jury trials. He is a member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and has a wide background of experience in death penalty, drug, domestic violence and various felony and misdemeanor cases. During the early 1990's, Ken won Tumwater's nationally known "possum homicide" case.
